Recently, I had the privilege of participating in the 18th Congress of the Oriental Society of Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery (OSAPS), hosted by the Philippine Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (PAPRAS) in Cebu. This was not just an event; it was a convergence of brilliance, collaboration, and the shared commitment to advancing the frontiers of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
With over 200 esteemed plastic surgeons from around the globe in attendance, the congress was a testament to the unity and relentless innovation that defines the beauty and wellness industry today. It underscored a shared belief that progress is built through collaboration, curiosity, and a willingness to push boundaries.
At DMark Beauty, it was an honor to contribute to this groundbreaking dialogue by showcasing the latest advancements in Teoxane Fillers and RegenLab Activa. These innovations are not just products; they are tools that empower surgeons to redefine patient care, enhance outcomes, and elevate standards within the field. Seeing the enthusiasm and engagement surrounding these technologies reaffirmed our mission to be at the forefront of transformative solutions in beauty and wellness.
A special highlight for me was working alongside Dr. Neil Oropesa of Oroderm, whose insights and leadership were invaluable during our joint sessions. His expertise embodies the spirit of innovation and inclusivity that drives our industry forward.
This congress also served as a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusivity in shaping the future of aesthetic medicine. The diverse perspectives shared during the event underscored a fundamental truth: the beauty and wellness industry thrives when it embraces diversity—of ideas, techniques, and visions. This inclusivity is what allows us to break new ground, not just in technology but in the way we approach patient care holistically.
I am deeply grateful to Johnny Litton for the thoughtful feature in the Philippine Star Lifestyle, which beautifully captured the essence of this milestone event. It is through platforms like these that we amplify the impact of our collective efforts, inspiring more to join the movement toward excellence and innovation.
Looking ahead, I am excited about the possibilities that these collaborations unlock. Events like the OSAPS Congress are more than opportunities to showcase advancements; they are a reminder that our shared mission is bigger than any one of us. Together, we are not just shaping the future of beauty and wellness—we are reimagining it.
Let’s continue to build bridges between science and artistry, innovation and care, and individuals and communities. The journey ahead is one of endless potential, and I am honored to walk it alongside such passionate, forward-thinking leaders.
To all the visionaries and changemakers I had the pleasure of meeting in Cebu, thank you for inspiring me once again. The future of beauty is brighter because of you.
